London fashion week beauty and other essentials

Hey everyone! For something as hectic as the fashion week, i much prefer to go the tried and tested path as far as makeup goes. The outfit anyways takes centre stage and with makeup i really want to stick to my favorites that i know will work and bear the unpredictable weather that London has been experiencing off late.

Skin prep and nails- Whether the sun is out or no i always make sure to put sunscreen  first and this one from La Roche Posay is non greasy and does not leave a white cast so its great when you have to put makeup on. Then i use my fav cream of all time for makeup Lait creme concentrate from Embryoliss. This cream is like  magic, it really plumps up the skin and makes the foundation and concealer look flawless.
I use the primer water from smash box to soften my real technique beauty blender a bit and this step does  makes the foundation and concealer look very natural and insync with the skin.

Face- I don't usually wear foundation, even when i am shooting. Concealer pretty much does for me but when i do my fav combo is the maybelline fit me mixed with a drop of revlon skin lights in bare, this gives me the most natural looking glowey skin and i am all about that. As for concealers my fav ones are the mac pro concealer and nars creamy soft all mattified by bourjois healthy mix powder and then some blush on the cheeks which 9/10 times is rose from dior, a dusty rose shade,

Lips- I am a total slave to liquid matte lipsticks and my fav ones right now are the nyx matte lip creams in the shade London and Berlin, kat von d liquid lipsticks  and the too faced melted strawberry. The only one that i am at all wearing right now that is a normal one is So Chaud by MAC.

Eyes- When i am in rush i skip eyeliner and just do my brows and put mascara. This time i have thought of wearing false lashes from Huda beauty but we will see how that comes through, will definitely tell u.

Other- The most important thing which is not in this picture is a portable charger that will always be in my bag as theres so much to update, make instastories ( i am taking u around london with me during fashion week so do check it), check schedule and stuff so running out of battery will be a nightmare. The second most important thing is Moroccan oil, after coloring its almost impossible to comb without applying a few drops of this oil to my hair.
The classic Sheffield from Daniel Wellington is always on my hand.
Umbrella is a must because it can rain anytime, its London, mine is a compact one that can easily fit in and since it might get very hectic i will keep banana with me so i could snack incase theres no time to eat.

So that pretty much are the essentials, Thank you for stopping by! See you tomorrow.

Love
Chichi

  4. Great decision to not wear foundation too often - I've been trying to wear it less lately! I'm so on board with keeping hair oils close-by as well, the benefits to the hair are just amazing. I'm yet to jump on board with Moroccan oil, though am a massive fan of Argan oil :)

  11. Girl, you are going to have an amazing time at Fashion Week! I'll have to check your Insta Stories. I broke the entire screen on my phone, so it's been so hard to watch anything on it, which is also why I haven't shared any stories either, but I just ordered a new phone, so we'll see! Anyway, I love all the products you've shared here. You have such great skin to not wear foundation! I wouldn't either, but I have some pigmentation I'm working on, it's better to go as natural as possible with products. Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have an amazing weekend!
