The one trend i have been absolutely in love with is wearing scarves as hair accessory. Just one of those things that can freshen up a look. And its so practical as well. Saving on those bad hair days plus with the cold weather here definitely want to postpone hair wash to the max possible, lol!!
Zara has a great collection at the moment, i have got all mine from there. Animal print is a great option being one of the hugest trends. Also good idea to incorporate the animal print trend in your look in case you find animal print too much. Another print that has been trending is the Italian scarf print. I have got both!!!
Styling is super easy, because it brings that fun element into the look you can care less about matching etc.

London is one instagram heaven and at the moment Dalloway terrace is one of its shining armour's. It is definitely one of the most instagrammable cafes in London, precisely the reason of my frequent visits.
There is beautiful flower installation inside the cafe which is changed as per the season. So they have a new installation every 3 or 4 months. Everytime there is an installation change all bloggers/ instagrammmers/ content creators / photographers flock to it to get their seasonal pics of London. The earlier the better right, we are living in the time of being there first!!!! Sharing pics taken with the spring summer and autumn installation from this year. They already have a new winter installation which i can't wait to take pictures with!!
How to get there - A 3 min walk from Tottenham court road station.
Reservation - recommended although you can find a decent seat if you get there early.
Reservation - recommended although you can find a decent seat if you get there early.
The food - Since its a cafe, we shouldn't forget food. The question i ask here is will i go if it wasn't for lovely pictures? The answer is no. The food is ok but nothing that will make me want to come back again and again.
Now answering the question is Dalloway terrace worth a visit ? Yes its definitely if you are into instagramming content creating etc or love to eat in beautiful places. Not really if you just care for good food.
Have you been to Dalloway terrace ?

Without any detours here are two easy tips to wear two checks aka a check on check look / outfit.
1. Keep one bold and one subtle. As you can see in this outfit. My trouser has small subtle check and my blazer has big bold check. I am clothed in print but this way the outfit still looks effortless and chic. I would also like to add if there is an area on your body that you want to conceal, for eg if your top part is heavy you can choose to wear small print on the top part of your body and vice versa.
2. Second tip for wearing two check prints is to stick to neutral colours so you keep the effortless vibe going. Styling it for your body shape you can choose to wear a darker print on the area you want to conceal and lighter print on the area you want to highlight.

Wearing two animal prints sounds too intimidating. It was certainly to me until i took the plunge and wore this outfit. Snake print skirt with leopard print scarf and shoes. Extremely happy that it turned out effortless still. The way to wear such striking prints together yet keeping it all effortless is to go with the same colour. My scarf, shoes and skirt are the same colour as you can see.

I get secretly obsessed with fabrics. But good news if the obsession happens to be a trend!! Corduroy which is a huge trend for aw19. I am obsessed with trousers mainly and at present count i own three corduroy trousers. 2 out of which are bought in the last 2 months or so, so i might be on the way to adding a lot more corduroy pieces to my wardrobe. We shall see!! Now about the outfit i love blue and this shade sang to me a lovely melody so i had to get it. I did stick to my rule and imagined at least 5 outfits i could make with this trouser before buying. This is outfit 1 and others will follow as and when.
Styling it i wore a check blazer and black sock boots. Its a great autumn outfit. Corduroy being a thick fabric works perfectly for the colder temps and the check print tends to be more popular in autumn winter as is. This outfit is also a good example of one that can work for casual as well as formal. That is the thing about corduroy it works well for both casual and formal occasions. So if you like this trend as well, good news!

Here is my outfit from LFW SS19. I love going to fashion weeks. The buzzing social media with loads of fashion inspiration coming, be it on the streets or the runways. The energy is divine. Having said that this season i got a bit out of love for fashion week. I do hope it changes sooner than later. More on that in another post, today lets just talk about this look which is all about making an impact without even trying, or something like that.
Tartan check is one of those classic prints. Come autumn winter and they come alive on the streets of London. I saw this midi skirt on Zara online and knew i had to have it in my collection. So the order was made!! To style, I took the red and black from the skirt and wore a red high neck jumper and my trusty Zara sock boots from last year. Going with colours in a print is the easiest way to style prints. To add a bit of interest to the outfit yet keeping the effortless chic style i tied my hair with a leopard print scarf in matching colours.
The outfit is comfy, effortless, practical to walk around yet making one stand out in the crowd.

Autumn is my favourite time of the year. The light layers and cosiness without having to think about cold cold is just fabulous. Here is the easiest autumn look to wear this year and every year really. A bottom + a dress + a jacket + loafers. Its a look that makes more use of your summer dress. A good example of how to mix prints in case you find them intimidating. The leopard print loafers paired with the camouflage print jacket. The outfit is a great example of how to do an fun look that is still minimal. Keeping the colour palette neutral is the trick. Also a good example of how to do the biggest trend of the season animal print in a subtle way.
I took these photos in the lovely village Brewood in Staffordshire UK, a quaint little english village with all the charm as you can see.

Not just a shoppers paradise an instagram lovers paradise too because Bicester village is one extremely beautifully done up place making all your instagram dreams come true. And in this post I am putting some worth having info for a trip to Bicester village.
- Its just 45 mins away from London with trains every 30 mins or so from London Marylebone. Its about 20 mins on train from Oxford and about 1hr 30 mins from Birmingham. You get out of the train station at Bicester village and you are literally in front of the shopping complex.
- If travelling by train get an open return ticket. More often than not one looses track of time in all the shopping. But whichever train you decide to take to get back start walking towards the train station 15 mins before the departure time so there is no rush.
- Beautifully done is literally an understatement. I have never been at a more tastefully done floral piece of space.
- The shops are all there, all the designers and some high street too. Bare in mind that the items in the shops are mostly not from the latest collections.
- There are loads of eating options. Cafes and small carts to serve the hungry shoppers on the go.
- Brace yourself for the cue outside the shops. There are lines for fitting rooms and payment too. Specially at big brands like Gucci, Prada, etc.
- The shops accept cash as well as cards.
- For shoppers from outside the UK you can get a VAT refund at the VAT office inside the shopping village. So do bring your passport for that.
- If you are going to be shopping loads bring a suitcase or bag so its easier to walk around and carry.
- There are loads of promotions throughout the year so check their site before planning your trip.
- The town of Bicester is worth exploring too. Its one of the fastest growing towns because of its close proximity to London and Birmingham. It has cute tea rooms, church, etc.
Have you been to Bicester village ? Do you want to visit ?

Another fun post today! The title of the post says homecoming for google search reasons but this post is really for any get togethers, reunions or events. A reunion coming up and the decision to be taken is whether to go with a date or in a group? Let’s talk about a few reasons why people would choose to go to their 'homecoming dance' with a date, with their squad, or go solo.
Going with a Date - When you are in a relationship, going to your homecoming dance with your significant other is a no-brainer. For couples, going to these celebrations will be a chance to enjoy some quality loving moments as you slow dance to the year’s most romantic tunes. Unless your partner is unavailable for the event, then you should have no problems going with a date to this special event.
If you are not in a relationship but have been eyeing a specific person to share a memorable night with, then this could be your chance to invite them as your date. And this option is not limited to just the boys and men, as girls and women can also ask the apple of their eye to be their homecoming date. The risks of asking someone out as a date would be greatly rewarded should they say yes. If they turn you down, then you’ll have to deal with the sting for a while, but at least you gave it a try.
Main decision to be made is the outfit, whether you'll like to wear short homecoming dress 2018 styles on showcase atm or can you'll go for an eye-catching long gown.
And yet, while there are significant reasons to go to homecoming with a date, those who are not eyeing specific persons may always opt for group dates.
Going with a Group - If you don’t have a date for your homecoming dance, there really is no reason to worry. One sure-fire way to make sure that your homecoming night is one you will remember for years to come is to attend with your friends. Imagine all the laughter and the lovely pictures you can share with your homecoming squad looking all glamorous in your gorgeous colour-coordinated dresses.
There are a number of reasons why going with a group to homecoming is so much more enjoyable, including the following:
1. You don’t need to go through an awkward date night.
Yes, sometimes people think that they really like somebody but when they get the chance to spend time with them, they turn out to be the kind of people you would rather not hang out with. Dates might be really awkward that you don’t really get to talk to each other, but you’ll never have to worry about this when you are with your friends.
2. Dancing with friends is so much more fun.
These are just two of many reasons why you should not worry about going to any event like homecoming, wedding, get together, any special event without a date. On top of these, no date or squad can make you enjoy celebrations better than yourself. So, yes, if you would prefer to attend by yourself, then go ahead. It’s totally okay to go solo! You and your perfect dress can be the stars of the night if you go for it.

Todays post is a different one its about what shirts do women prefer on men. I have never talked about mens fashion on the blog but why not? Specially if its a post on women's liking on men.
When choosing a shirt to impress, a few
questions might cross a man’s mind: does it match with the trousers? Is the
material of a good quality? Is it suitable for the dress code? Something that
men should also be asking is – what does this colour say about me?
Research has shown that the colour of a
man’s shirt can perceive them in a certain way, if you’re looking to come
across as powerful; choose red. If you want to show confidence, always opt for
black. With help from Charles Tyrwhitt, experts in gentlemen’s fashion
and retailers of men’s
formal shirts, lets investigate further and find out which colours women
prefer on men.
Choosing the right colour
When it comes to deciding which coloured
shirt to buy, there are some that are perceived more positively by the opposite
sex. Consider purchasing one of the following coloured shirts on your next
shopping trip if you’re looking to dress to impress…
Red
Associated with Valentine’s Day and all
things romantic, red signifies love and passion. It is thought that the
attraction to red comes from our biological roots – many animals such as
baboons are attracted to the opposite sex if they display bright colours. To
wear this on a first date might be slightly overpowering, however it does give
off some vibes that your date might be interested in.
If you’re looking to demonstrate power and a
strong social status, red is a good colour to go for. Research found that wearing
red can actually boost the wearers own confidence, which will be a good thing
during a first date for women who are looking for a man with some self-assurance.
A red shirt can indicate that you have good health and are financially stable,
two more things a woman may have on their checklist when looking for a new
partner.
In a survey which explored the
attractiveness of men in different coloured shirts, red was found to be more
attractive than blue or green. This perception was a global consensus - so
wherever in the world you go wearing a red shirt, expect to get a similar
reception.
However, although the colour was linked to
romance it was not associated with the wearer being kind or sociable – perhaps
you’ll have to demonstrate these traits through the power of conversation
instead.
Black
Although originally kept in the wardrobe
for mourning, black is now worn for various occasions by many fashion
followers. Similar to red, black can be perceived as the colour of
self-assurance – 56% of women said that it inspired confidence. Other comments
included that the colour black made the wearer appear more intelligent and sexy
– perfect for a first date!
Black is renowned for being worn at classy events. Too much black can be overpowering, so if you opt for a black shirt you
should avoid pairing it with a black jacket, pants and shoes too. It is a
versatile colour and don’t be afraid to mix and match, for example denim jeans
and a black shirt is a good casual outfit for many events.
White
White was another colour that rated high in
terms of clothing. It was perceived to be the least arrogant colour and instead
gave off the impression that the wearer was full of optimism!
A white shirt is a nice and classic look
for when you are trying to impress at a formal event. However, during research,
it was the definitive white t-shirt and jeans combo that caught women’s eyes
and was perceived to be the more attractive look for a man.
Ones to avoid
There are also some colours to avoid when
it comes to choosing a shirt. In many surveys revolving around the
attractiveness of colour, orange and brown consistently performed poorly. They
often are perceived as quite boring, drab colours although a bright orange
shirt could brighten up an outfit nicely on a summer’s day.
Pink didn’t go down very well either. Only
5% of people thought that intelligent people would wear this colour!
Other tips
When choosing a coloured shirt consider the
following tips too:
· . Many men
look great in a colour that matches their eyes, if you have green eyes perhaps
opt for a moss green shirt- a popular colour this season
· . Avoid
wearing dark colours if you have a light complexion, this can really draw your
skin tone out and make you appear paler
· . If you
have dark hair, opt for bright colours as these are likely to complement you
more.
