How to stay connected with yourself during busy times

Hey everyone! I have been trying to cope up with a lot of stuff the past couple of weeks.  My father has been sick for the last 10 days, we are planning to change our house, preparing for london fashion week, prepping for a line of indian festivals about to start, market shopping  (yes shopping in shops stresses me! long live online shopping) to name a few. I was also feeling a lot materialistic with so many clothes in front of me so i did a few things to heal myself  and this post is all about that.

Easy and simple things that help to stay grounded and  connected with yourself and the people u love.

1)  Chat with a friend- I love to talk and i am so blessed to have a friend in Abhilasha with whom i can speak my heart out, like literally my heart out. After our chat i even forget what the reason for stress was. So speak to someone, could also be a family member or someone online.
2) Walk on grass- Walking on grass barefoot has been proven to heal the human body and also align the five senses.
3) Listen to music- Listening to Bollywood songs or Coldplay or Adele at full blast is quite a stress buster for me and sometimes i also sing along and try to perfect my notes.
4) Drink water- Not drinking enough water can give you headaches and create all sorts of discomfort in your body which can add to your anxiety so try to drink as much water as you can and specially more during busy periods.
5) Soak your foot in water- After a long day putting you foot in water for 15 mins or so will de stress you completely.
6) Chop fruits or vegetables- Give it a try, it helps.
7) Remember a random act of kindness during the day- It could be anything, a stranger complimented  you on your dress or a family member made a great cup of tea for you but just reminding yourself of such acts make you a lot humble and grateful.
8) Stationary- This is a personal one, i am a big fan of good stationary. It makes me feel happy and a lot childlike. And something that lets you become a child for no matter what fraction of time is surely a good stress buster and that is why I love Busy B stationary it does not just keeps you organized but also caresses that child in you. They have a great product range of diaries, calendars, wedding and baby journals and also a fashion range perfect for us bloggers. The Busy B notebook and pen are always in my bag and i really feel good everytime i take them out to take notes on the go.

This is my third day of blogging everyday and i have to say blogging is a great anxiety reliever as well! I know i said i will do a nyfw trend post today but i have been thinking about a post like this for the last whole week so thought will put this first and of course the nyfw post will be up tomorrow.

Thank you for stopping by! See you tomorrow!

Love
Chichi

  12. I hope your dad feels better soon! I'm sorry you've been feeling a bit drained and off, but as a positive, you made a great list. Funnily enough, the simplest one (DRINK WATER!) is my favorite and something I've been trying to be better about!

    Thanks for the tips!
