Basically do things that make you happy like going in the fields or visiting your favourite flower shop or having a cup of tea. Schedule time you won’t be working, and then stick to them.
Prioritize yourself. Take the time for regular workouts and to eat healthy food. Take a long shower and don’t feel bad about it.

A sunny day chic yet fun London outfit. I couldn't have put it better. Wore the outfit this sunday for a day around bright and shining sunny London. Ah London how glorious under the sun!!! No matter how many times it has been said will say it yet again there is no place like sunny London and i can't stop loving it. Everything and everyone glows and isn't thats what the nerve of a city is. For a day around sunny London on a sunday i like to keep things fresh breezy and comfortable. Make comfort a priority because you want to enjoy the day to the fullest and your outfit should let you do all the walking and indulging around town. Even though I am used to the extreme heat, 40 degrees plus, in Delhi in summer i find London harsh with 25 degrees plus and sun in its glory. So Choose breathable fabrics and lighter colour palettes to soothe your senses. Add a straw bag and pop a colour through earrings and you are chic yet fun. Easy breezy dresses are a good option but something like this outfit is a winner because it just stands out. The fabric, the silhouette, the colour palette the accessories all make a sunny day look even better.

About this outfit, paper bag waist are my new love and i couldn’t stop myself from literally grabbing this one from stradivarius the minute my eyes saw them. Linen and stripes in cream and khaki is divinity. I see myself living in them this summer having already worn a couple of times. I am one of those people who would wear their clothes to death if they look good and feel good, haha, hope some of you are like that too!!! For the top Paper bag waists are great with crop tops or something tucked in. Crop tops are not for me given all the flab so tucked in it is. Vest style cami tops are a summer dream and i am also loving the front button detail in trend at the moment. Lover of monochrome so just kept it cream. Metallic slides a winner for monochrome looks and added a pop with red earrings. So predictable for me. But thats my style. Chic, comfortable, effortless, classic yet going with the trends. PERSONAL STYLE!!!

Finally the realization that most beautiful pleasures are free. Its a beautiful sunny day in the midlands england and i am sitting in a country pub, its about 18 degrees and the breeze is neither cool nor warm but the sun is strong and people just like me are sitting outside with their drink or book or nothing. I am writing on my laptop and all i can think off is how the most beautiful pleasures of life are free. The sun, the trees, the chirping of the birds, the breeze, the fragrance from the flowers, the sound of the stream nearby, the sight of the shapes and colours of the flowers, the never-ending blanket of the blue sky, etc etc. Realizing how we even forget they exist but how they increase our well being.
Moving from nature to man made simple pleasures that don’t ring a bell but they quietly make it all. The steam from a hot cup of tea and the smell from the brewed tea after a tiring day might get lost in the magnitude of things but they are what make the moment wonderful and relax our senses. The comfort of our bed on a cold day doesn’t stand in the highlight but it is the back reel that makes it possible.
Gratefulness for things like these is my prime emotion at the mo. It has brought so much peace into my being, i am almost at no rush of anything becoming more thankful each day for these wonders of joy and content with all that has been bestowed on me. Finally the realization that most beautiful pleasures are free. Its a beautiful sunny day in the midlands england and i am sitting in a country pub, its about 18 degrees and the breeze is neither cool nor warm but the sun is strong and people just like me are sitting outside with their drink or book or nothing. I am writing on my laptop and all i can think off is how the most beautiful pleasures of life are free. The sun, the trees, the chirping of the birds, the breeze, the fragrance from the flowers, the sound of the stream nearby, the sight of the shapes and colours of the flowers, the never-ending blanket of the blue sky, etc etc. Realizing how we even forget they exist but how they increase our well being.
Moving from nature to man made simple pleasures that don’t ring a bell but they quietly make it all. The steam from a hot cup of tea and the smell from the brewed tea after a tiring day might get lost in the magnitude of things but they are what make the moment wonderful and relax our senses. The comfort of our bed on a cold day doesn’t stand in the highlight but it is the back reel that makes it possible.
Gratefulness for things like these is my prime emotion at the mo. If you follow me on instagram and see my stories you know how i have been talking about simplicity and the beauty of these simple pleasures. It has brought so much peace into my being, i am almost at no rush of anything becoming more thankful each day for these wonders of joy and content with all that has been bestowed on me. More on that in the next post.

Not much into colour well no problem here is an outfit that is all black yet super fun for summer aka a winning all black summer outfit. Although here i am wearing a black shirt dress this look will work just as well with any neutral colour. The trick with wearing all black in the spring summer is in the accessories and the fabric and fit of the outfit. And to keep the look still classy focus on the shoes and bags, choosing more classy styles. Metallics are great option for shoes and a timeless classic bag is the way to go. I wore this outfit last week to meet a dear friend for a hop around some pretty spots around london. The flower decorations in London around this time of the year are just amazzzz and these pictures were taken at Sanderson London with the prettiest swing ever.

Paper bag waist is the in thing at the moment and i always love khaki, i think i have said in the past that i almost treat it as a neutral so when the two met it was love at first sight for me. No second thoughts and these trousers were bought. I wore them to spin around london town a few weeks back soaking in the flower decorations with a girlfriend. We first brunched at Dalloway terrace which i totally recommend for the ambience and photo opportunities and then just went around central London.
I wore the khaki trousers with white top, red socks and white converse. My outfit was a total match with the colours of the flower swing decoration at covent garden, hehe!
Although i hadn't thought of wearing the khaki with white i was quite surprised at how good it looked with white. Does that happen to you colours you didn't think will work together actually turn out to be stunning.
I am planning to take some beautiful flower photos around Central London today. Fingers crossed!
