London is one instagram heaven and at the moment Dalloway terrace is one of its shining armour's. It is definitely one of the most instagrammable cafes in London, precisely the reason of my frequent visits.

autumn installation dalloway terrace, dalloway terrace london, is dalloway terrace worth a visit, indian blogger, london blog, instagrammable cafes london, london instagram spot

There is beautiful flower installation inside the cafe which is changed as per the season. So they have a new installation every 3 or 4 months. Everytime there is an installation change all bloggers/ instagrammmers/ content creators / photographers flock to it to get their seasonal pics of London. The earlier the better right, we are living in the time of being there first!!!! Sharing pics taken with the spring summer and autumn installation from this year. They already have a new winter installation which i can't wait to take pictures with!!
How to get there - A 3 min walk from Tottenham court road station.
Reservation - recommended although you can find a decent seat if you get there early.
The food - Since its a cafe, we shouldn't forget food. The question i ask here is will i go if it wasn't for lovely pictures? The answer is no. The food is ok but nothing that will make me want to come back again and again.

  4. The shops are all there, all the designers and some high street too. Bare in mind that the items in the shops are mostly not from the latest collections.
  5. There are loads of eating options. Cafes and small carts to serve the hungry shoppers on the go.
  6. Brace yourself for the cue outside the shops. There are lines for fitting rooms and payment too. Specially at big brands like Gucci, Prada, etc.

  8. For shoppers from outside the UK you can get a VAT refund at the VAT office inside the shopping village. So do bring your passport for that.
  9. If you are going to be shopping loads bring a suitcase or bag so its easier to walk around and carry.

Another fun post today! The title of the post says homecoming for google search reasons but this post is really for any get togethers, reunions or events. A reunion coming up and the decision to be taken is whether to go with a date or in a group? Let’s talk about a few reasons why people would choose to go to their 'homecoming dance' with a date, with their squad, or go solo.

should i go to homecoming with a date or with the squad, dalmatian print bag, style ruffles, chic event outfit, london blogger, uk blog, indian blogger, wear to an event, effortless chic

Going with a Date - When you are in a relationship, going to your homecoming dance with your significant other is a no-brainer. For couples, going to these celebrations will be a chance to enjoy some quality loving moments as you slow dance to the year’s most romantic tunes. Unless your partner is unavailable for the event, then you should have no problems going with a date to this special event.
If you are not in a relationship but have been eyeing a specific person to share a memorable night with, then this could be your chance to invite them as your date. And this option is not limited to just the boys and men, as girls and women can also ask the apple of their eye to be their homecoming date. The risks of asking someone out as a date would be greatly rewarded should they say yes. If they turn you down, then you’ll have to deal with the sting for a while, but at least you gave it a try.
Main decision to be made is the outfit, whether you'll like to  wear short homecoming dress 2018 styles  on showcase atm or can you'll go for an eye-catching long gown.
And yet, while there are significant reasons to go to homecoming with a date, those who are not eyeing specific persons may always opt for group dates.

Going with a Group - If you don’t have a date for your homecoming dance, there really is no reason to worry. One sure-fire way to make sure that your homecoming night is one you will remember for years to come is to attend with your friends. Imagine all the laughter and the lovely pictures you can share with your homecoming squad looking all glamorous in your gorgeous colour-coordinated dresses.

There are a number of reasons why going with a group to homecoming is so much more enjoyable, including the following:

1. You don’t need to go through an awkward date night.
Yes, sometimes people think that they really like somebody but when they get the chance to spend time with them, they turn out to be the kind of people you would rather not hang out with. Dates might be really awkward that you don’t really get to talk to each other, but you’ll never have to worry about this when you are with your friends.
2. Dancing with friends is so much more fun.
These are just two of many reasons why you should not worry about going to any event like homecoming, wedding, get together, any special event without a date. On top of these, no date or squad can make you enjoy celebrations better than yourself. So, yes, if you would prefer to attend by yourself, then go ahead. It’s totally okay to go solo! You and your perfect dress can be the stars of the night if you go for it.

If you are on a budget or you are a student or you know someone who is this post will be super helpful because it lists down affordable eating and drinking locations in the capital.  The tips will surely help you make appropriate savings that will help make a huge difference.

student survival, where to eat and drink in london, indian blogger, london tips, travel london, london blogger, uk blog

Being a student in an expensive city like London is hard. Forget the hard work of studying at university, surviving financially as a student in London is just as challenging. When it comes to money, one in five have never budgeted, which has led to 84% of people worrying about making ends meet — with the biggest damage being dietary requirements (60%), soon followed by mental health (50%), relationships (42%) and grades (34%) consequently.
But there is help from services like Oxford tube that provide discounted tickets of a London to Oxford and vice versa coach to young people. And here is a fun guide full of affordable eating and drinking locations in the capital that will make student life a tad bit financially merrier

Restaurants and Cafés

According to the Student Living Index of 2017, the average student dishes out £43.30 per month on going out with friends. To help you get the most out of your money, take a look at some of the top suggestions for eating out in London:
Franco Manca
If you love your Italian cuisine, the name Franco Manca says it all. With over 40 pizzerias in London alone, the sourdough pizzas are to die for and are super affordable. Accompanied with quality ingredients, the brick oven bakes the pizzas, subsequently leaving a beautiful crust to munch on — and no, crusts don’t give you curly hair!
When we say affordable, we mean cheap as chips. Although with this USP comes a downside — Franco Manca is no secret to Londoners, meaning that there’s always a queue outside. A tomato, garlic and oregano pizza could be yours for only £4.95 (with extra toppings ranging from £0.50-£1.75). You’ll need something to wash down your main, so non-branded beers and ciders are available to purchase for £3.65 and are just as good, if not better! Post pizza, grab yourself a desert for just £3.95 too!
The average food spend at Franco Manca is around £12.00 per person, allowing you to enjoy a night out knowing you won’t be breaking the bank.
Haché Burgers
Haché is a popular burger bar in London; even the celebs like to dine there from time to time. If the food was good enough for Amy Winehouse, it’s worth a try to get those taste buds going! (Amy’s favourite on the menu was the Steak Canadien).
The main menu stands out from any other restaurant in London, offering sharing starters which is ideal for you and your foodie friends who want to start off the evening in the right way at a split price. Although this is a burger bar, there are plenty of vegetarian options that help make a more inclusive environment for all. Burgers are presented in fresh ciabatta or a brioche bun — served with tomato and sliced sweet red onion, along with a little bit of mustard mayo which is to die for. Sides, desserts and drinks are also reasonably cheap!
Tatler magazine even quoted: “You could get a decent burger, but nothing like Haché.”
Terry’s Café
Let’s face it, we’ve all woken up craving a full English breakfast after a heavy night out in London. Terry’s Café is here to help you start your day off in the right way — fixing that headache (and heartache?) in a jiffy. The café itself is in Suffolk and is heavily proud of its British culture — as you walk in this will be evident with the countless of black and white photographs documenting local history.
The breakfast menu is quite cheap for a London café, with a standard fry-up costing you £8, allowing you to make additional stretches if you want to add something more onto your plate. If you can’t stomach a fry-up on the morning, alternatives range from filling omelettes to porridge!
On your visit, you must order a pot of tea — what they’re most known for — and if you enjoy it that much, you can buy a box to take home!

Bars

One of the heightened parts of university life is the drinking culture — and we understand that there are places in London that charge extortionate prices when there are cheaper alternatives. We take a look at some of the hidden gems that will save you a fortune:
The Shoreditch
If you love to boogie on the dancefloor, take a trip to The Shoreditch, who are specialised in making the most delicious cocktails with a Tiki theme. Offering a Happy Hour service, you can purchase two cocktails or four beers for £10 — and there’s no rush, with this offer spanning from 2pm to 10pm daily!
Café Kick and Bar Kick
All week from 4pm till’ 7pm, you will be able to grab some deals down at Café Kick, where cocktails come at a low price of £5 and house beer at £2.50 a bottle. If you’re closer to Bar Kick, this branch offers the same deals — perfect for students dotted around the capital.
Bar Elba
We all love taking pictures of the London skyline, and there’s no better place to do it than at rooftop bar, Bar Elba, which overlooks everything. Take plenty of pics — Instagram at the ready! Accompanied with their two-for-one Happy Hour deals (5pm-7pm), it is the perfect location to start a sophisticated night out.
