Hey everyone!
Camel is said to be one of those colours that makes everything look luxe and made well. I absolutely love it and that explains the two purchases in todays outfit the jeans and the blazer from Zara, if i remember well i also got them together. Ok i love it but its one of those tricky colours that i find hard to style. I try to imagine the various colour possibilities but find myself limited to try them but i promise, that i will gather more courage very soon and rock all the combos i am going to list below.
Some colour combos to try with camel:
1 Camel+ cream
2 Camel+ shades of red like true red and burgundy
3 Camel+ shades of blue like navy, cobalt and pale blue
4 Camel+ neutrals like black and grey
5 Camel+ shades of pink like hot pink and pale pink
6 Camel+ hunter green
As you can see i am rocking the top two colours together in todays outfit cream and red. Ok cream is safe but i get all the points for wearing my red leopard slingbacks.
Draping your blazer or jacket over your shoulder is such a cool styling trick that is actually nothing but gives so much to the look.
I wore this outfit to a restaurant launch, India Bistro in hotel Diplomat, Chanakyapuri. If you are reading this from New Delhi, it is your place to visit asap, if not, whenever u find yourself in New Delhi and want to have the real Indian food, India Bistro is The place. It is authentic Indian food with an inventive touch and the food tasting was one of the best i have been to.
Loved the interesting collection of paintings and the mango basil melody my dear friend, Abhilasha had was yum. I had a soar throat so couldn't relish the drinks but the honey tea they made for me was heaven sent for my throat, think hospitality!!!
The best dish and the must have was the Snow dahi bhalla, (below), even better than the famous one from chandni chowk, the chef also demonstrated how they make it. Loved how they use liquid nitrogen to get all sorts of fun effects.
Must haves moradabadi dal, galouti kebab and ghee roast mutton (in order below)
The pomegranate raita with the biryani was so good, i could have eaten as it is.
Deserts floating in liquid nitrogen!!
Well i am not a food writer but i am a foodie and this place is a foodies paradise both visually and taste wise. I was also very impressed with almost equal number of vegetarian dishes and can't wait to take my mom in law who is a vegetarian soon.
Hope this review is helpful at some point and also the colour combos to try with camel.
Thank you for stopping by! See you in my next one.

What a beautiful outfit - and the food looks great too! I have a new camel coat, and so it was great timing for me to read this inspiring post. I wouldn't have previously thought to pair camel with red, but your look is gorgeous. I especially love the red leopard-print slingbacks! XO
