The New Power Suit

Hey everyone! Clothes have their way of playing with our mind, it can also be makeup,  basically how we look affects how we perceive ourselves at least i can say that about myself. If I am well dressed I am in the mood to do more things, meet more people, in other words it gives me more energy. So I try to dress up well most days. Having said that I should also tell u that this has been my way of life for the last 2 years only and before that, though I was interested in style and fashion, I hardly cared.

This look is the modern version of the power suit. And it's very easy to recreate as u don't need matching separates. Pick a blazer of ur choice and a bottom in the same or similar colour. My blazer is black whereas my trousers are navy and they work very well, so it doesn't have to match perfectly just try to keep it close and I am wearing the on trend wide leg trousers, the straight or skinny pants are great too. But if u can, try the wide leg trousers a must try trend and this one is still available at less than half the price.

With this monochromatic look or looks like one colour look, attention to details is important keeping in mind the clean vibe of a power suit. So I did a lace cami top in velvet, statement earrings and cobalt blue strappy heels. These details added a good amount of interest without disturbing the clean formal look.
