Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay in posting. Been a crazy travelling week. 3 flights in 48 hrs. Normal for many but my life is not so busy. I am currently in Jodhpur Rajasthan attending the Sufi music festival after taking a trip to Bangalore in south India to meet 3 of my blogger friends.

About today's outfit, I wore it last week for a picnic day. Since the weather was cool but being out in the sun and all the games and activities would have made me quite hot and sweaty, I had to layer, so I could take them off as needed. In the basic mood I decided to combine these simple basic layers which we all have in our wardrobes or should have, if not. These pieces are extremely versatile, make n number of outfits and are always in fashion. So please ensure that you have a striped tank top, a plaid shirt, a faux leather jacket, a black jeans, sneakers and a statement necklace. Since they serve me so much. I was in fact thinking of starting to invest in basics. Would love to know your thoughts on that.

Hey everyone! Spring time is great for these kinda outfits. Maxi dresses in lighter fabrics and an easy to loose outer wear. The t shirt maxis are so soft on the skin, lightweight and one can wear them most times of the year with different layering and shoes. In Spring summer with flat sandals for a casual look or with sneakers for the chilled out look or with fancy heels like me for a formal casual look and in fall with booties or boots. So it's definitely a wardrobe work horse.

Casual formal edgy spring look

Hey everyone! Clothes have their way of playing with our mind, it can also be makeup, basically how we look affects how we perceive ourselves at least i can say that about myself. This look is the modern version of the power suit. And it's very easy to recreate as u don't need matching separates. Pick a blazer of ur choice and a bottom in the same or similar colour. My blazer is black whereas my trousers are navy and they work very well, so it doesn't have to match perfectly just try to keep it close and I am wearing the on trend wide leg trousers, the straight or skinny pants are great too. But if u can, try the wide leg trousers a must try trend and this one is still available at less than half the price.
With this monochromatic look or looks like one colour look, attention to details is important keeping in mind the clean vibe of a power suit. So I did a lace cami top in velvet, statement earrings and cobalt blue strappy heels. These details added a good amount of interest without disturbing the clean formal look.

But then can't really say as this year it's been weird, in the peak December and January it was nowhere close to the cold we experience and then it became cold but now it definitely is becoming warm for long.
This is my Spring cardi. I got it 2 years back and love to wear around this time, the colour and the daisies shout out Spring. And I particularly love the front open design so I can take it off if it gets too warm, without fuss. That's one of the keys to dressing up for Spring. Layers which are easy to loose.
About this bicycle, the passer by was kind enough to let me ride it though I didn't look capable of doing so and was about to fall any minute!!!!!

order our favorite food. It all depends on the day and since this year is a sunday we have planned to go to a homebakers house and bake some cookies and cupcakes for each other! Sounds fun, isn't it, i am all excited and looking forward to it.
I had actually planned a different outfit for valentines day but all of a sudden its started getting a lot warm during the afternoon so now i plan to wear this swing dress with the so on trend flare sleeves and lace inserts! Instead of the usual reds and pinks, this year i chose white, to change things a bit and make my valentines day look fresh and different. And if u haven't chosen your valentines day outfit yet i strongly suggest white, ull standout in the cityyyyy!! hahaaa!
For shoes, i wanted flats as ill be mostly standing and these snake print lace ups are perfect with the right amount of sass for the sweet fun look.
This dress is at major sale from Asos and is still available. Its also lined so u don't need a slip as we always do with most white dresses and i have linked similar shoes, infact better than the one i am wearing, yes!!!
