the love of skirts

Hey everyone! Me and my sisi have always been more of a skirt and top kinda gals. Ya, growing up we wore skirt and top almost every day till we reached high school and found our loved skinny jeans. And then things changed and there was a time when i did not own a single skirt in my wardrobe. One day i was going through my school pictures and i wondered when, why and how did i stop wearing my skirts as most of those pictures were in skirts. So one of my top resolutions since then has been to wear more skirts. The moment i put on one i feel like i am still in school and life is so simple and unadulterated. And i mean only skirts no dresses or anything.

There was instant love with this co-ord set. Co-ords are so easy to style, just throw in a good pair of shoes and u could be done. The bright tropical print and the crinkly fabric of this one were an instant thumbs up.

I wore these beady flatform shoes as i had to walk around a bit for shopping that day. And that turned out to be such a wise decision  as we ended up walking a lot cos the market parking was full.  

As the top is quite boxy i wore a belt to sort of define the waist. It also looks great tucked into the skirt.

Taupe is a great neutral color and is perfect for bags just as black and brown.

This dutch braid could add interest to any look and with this outfit it was the perfect flirty hairdo.
