Hey everyone! hope u r all doing well. Nature is a big inspiration to me. The changing landscapes, the various colours, the million sounds and pretty much everything inspires me at levels even my conscious self is not aware of. I do not know if any of u would believe this but here is what happened on the day we took these pictures. Since the morning i had this urge to wear these lemon yellow court shoes and this lime green and grey scarf with grey jeans and top. I had never worn these two colors together and did not really see them as a great combination. But from somewhere, i just had this image of them working well together. So, i went ahead and wore it.
While walking towards the place, we had planned to take the pictures, Mom saw this tree and stopped me. I looked at the tree and it was grey with few lime green leaves and the ground was full of lemon yellow leaves shed from the tree.
I now, knew where this image of the grey with the lime green and lemon yellow came from. Such is the beauty of nature, it influences me without me even knowing it. I must have seen this tree with the leaves many a times as it is hardly 100 mtrs from my house and got subconsciously inspired. I spent the next 15 min after the shoot admiring the beauty of nature and realized as i am growing i am becoming more and more aware of its strength.

Hey everyone! hope you are all doing well. Guys, I never thought much about the gingham check, in fact i always looked upon them as meant for tablecloth or kitchen towel. But hey....i was blown out by how sophisticated and classy they looked on the s/s 15 runways. They have, now, joined the ranks of the stripes, the polka dots and the leopard print for me. To make my first ever purchase of a clothing item with the gingham, I chose a shirt in black and white. Black and white can be worn all year around so this one is going to be a definite staple in my wardrobe.

Hey everyone!, hope u r all doing well. Peach and brown is a stellar combination for dressing and  being the lover i am i would want to have it even if it does not come in a form that spelled comfort. But what if it does? i would just snatch it! and that is exactly what i did with these beautiful peach and brown heels. They represent fun and comfort in the best possible way. I have worn them many a times since i bought them last summer, never with this floral lace dress, though, which is kind of weird cos this dress was the first thing that came to my mind when i thought of the items, in my wardrobe, i could pair it with. So, ya.. this was the day. Apart from the great colour match I love how the sturdiness of the heels plays with the delicateness of floral lace.

Since i wore this outfit for the evening, i added these beautiful chandelier earrings to glam up a bit.
And since i was in the mood i thought of some dutch braid action!

To not disturb the colour palette, i took this brown corduroy shirt as a light cover up, a spring time must, shirts are a great outer layer for spring as they are light yet protecting and paired with dresses they look super cool as the two silhouettes contrast.

We went to the mall to watch 'Focus' this weekend. Great movie! but.. both of us were fixated on Margrot Robbie. She looked so... gooood.. gosh! couldnt take our eyes off her. We only talked about Miss Robbie on our way back home and even for sometime after getting back. Maybe i should put together a look inspired by her, this weekend. Maybe.,YES!

Hey everyone!, hope u are all doing well. The weather here has been so unpredictable that i am unsure how to dress, most days. Some days it feels we are set for rising temps and some days it feels gloomy and cold again. This Sunday, a friend and i had planned to go to this food festival in Nehru park with many good bakery's and deli's putting their stalls. It also had a cool music scene with some rocking rock bands ( rocking rock bands, ok!, thats cool) performing live.

It was raining on Saturday night but i thought the weather would clear out on Sunday. I guess i forgot what 'the wise women' say about Saturday rains, if it begins to rain on Saturday it continues for 3 days non stop. I woke up to a cold and gloomy weather on Sunday and checked the forecast, which was thunderstorm and shower. Going to a park with prediction of rain seemed like a bad idea but friend was super excited for this festival so we decided to go ahead with the plan. Though we were up early, 8.30 am, which is very early and unusual for us on a Sunday, we decided, to laze around a bit and  see how the weather behaves, and to leave around 2. On Sunday we could reach in 15 min so we could be there for lunch.

Now the biggest task was to decide, what to wear? for such a weather. I had given all my winter clothes for dry clean apart from two lightweight sweaters and two blazers. This pale blue sweater was one of them. Pale blue/ powder blue suits me amazingly and makes my complexion glow like no other. I guess i just needed that for the dull and gloomy day which was making my mood a little blue. I decided to go with the whole blue thing and chose, stone bleached denim shirt and comfy printed navy jeggings. Choosing items of different shades of the same color  is a great way of putting your outfits together.  It creates curiosity and visual engagement. Another plus of this outfit, is the well gelled prints. The print on the sweater and the jegging is different but they work well cos the base colors are well matched. To compliment the glow this color gave me i went ahead with flushed rosy cheeks and bright fuchsia lips which also happened to match my shoes, these bright pink cap toed flats, apt for the park and the walking. And the silver hooped earrings added that extra feminity to the whole look. Being on trend, Yay! I parted my hair at the center.

Overall, I sort of fought the gloominess of the day with this look which kept me in great spirits. This and some flower therapy, should admit.

Hey everyone!, hope you are all doing well. Guys, I have waited for good 4 months to wear these super fun wedges. The leafy floral print on the heel instantly drew my attention and compelled me to grab them during winter time. I got a good discount though, I should admit. You'll see me rocking these a lot in the coming months. Inspired by the flowers in the shoes I decided to take take these pictures in a park near my house with bushy pink flowers. I sure had some fun playing with them. OK! I love flowers. They instantly bring a smile on my face and change my mood for good. They are my favorite blessing of mother nature. I cant even begin to rave more about them as I feel that will take a full big post in itself.

As the weather gets warmer, it is the last few chances for me to wear a blazer. It is one of my most loved item of clothing as it instantly adds that put together vibe to any outfit. I love wearing colored denim all year round, specially during spring and summer and this yellow one is a fairly recent purchase. I chose to wear a cream heather t shirt to sort of blend the two strong colors. As for necklace I wore these dainty gold ones to keep it subtle as I wanted the shoes to be the focal point.

Hey everyone!, hope you are all doing well, no matter how much you love winter, the thought of warmer weather and the fun clothes and colours associated with it, always excites after 2-3 months of cold spell. After a point I get bored out of wearing the dark colours and the multitude of layering one has to think of.

I wore this outfit recently when I went to my sisters house. For 15 degree weather this was appropriate. This bright cobalt blue bomber jacket ( I am obsessed with this shade of blue, you'll see my love for it in future posts) paired with all white is one of my most loved combinations. The camel of the shoe and bag provides the perfect contrast to both the blue and the white. I wore diamond studs to add sophistication and pale blue, sort of dainty, necklace to bring all the colours together.
Makeup was quite subtle with a soft cranberry smokey eye and pink lips. And my hair was sleek in a braided bun.
Not to forget the bright spring sunlight adds the most beautiful color to the pictures.
