I can confidently say this from my travels across countries and continents, people on the streets mostly wear jeans and streets in my opinion are the true reflection of the dressing habits and styles. Hey everyone
I find embroidery very special and personal because in the past it was only done by hands, obviously not the case anymore but the sentiment has remained with me. I also love embroidery because it is great to incorporate some colour into outfits without really wearing colour. It is one of the hugest trends this year, i think should not be said!!! I much prefer embroidery over prints and my favourite way to wear an embroidered piece will be to just pair it with other basic neutral pieces to let the embroidery shine.

Hey everyone
Crop tops have been around for quite sometime now, they are cute but the number one reason i love them is that they are the perfect piece for layering and playing with proportions, over and under longline styles and that is why i would always want to have them in my wardrobe no matter what the season or trend. As seen in the first outfit i am wearing my stripe sleeveless crop top over a long sleeve tee for an interesting look that oozes street style.
Now i think we all agree they are very cute but what if you do not have a certain kind of figure to pull them off, like me, i don’t have a flat stomach. But i still like them and want to wear them so what do i do? Just pair them with high waisted bottoms. In the second outfit i am wearing my floral crop top, so gorgeous for spring summer with my haigh waisted wide leg trousers. The high waist makes sure my tummy doesn't show and i think it makes a cute look too!
Both my crop tops are from Globus, if you are from my generation growing up in Delhi, Globus was one of the first 'high fashion high street stores’ to open, remember shopping loads during my school days because they had all the high fashion stuff at great prices and quality and i am so happy they are also online now, and their spring summer collection has me obsessed, so yayyyy!!!

Why crop tops and how to style
Hey everyone
Crop tops have been around for quite sometime now, they are cute but the number one reason i love them is that they are the perfect piece for layering and playing with proportions, over and under longline styles and that is why i would always want to have them in my wardrobe no matter what the season or trend. As seen in the first outfit i am wearing my stripe sleeveless crop top over a long sleeve tee for an interesting look that oozes street style.

Hey everyone
Healthy nails are a girls dream, unnecessary chipping or lack of shine or not growing well are some problems that i have faced in the past and i am sure most of us do. Thankfully there are quite a few easy ways to address those issues that need just a few humble ingredients from our kitchen and today i am sharing some that have helped me and girls in my family to have beautiful nails.
- The Oils - as our nail is made of keratin and protein its almost the same as our hair so massaging oils like Olive oil, Coconut oil, Vitamin E oil for 5 mins works wonders to improve the strength and lusture of nails.
- The Vitamins - Specially great for nails are vitamin C, E, A and H also called Biotin. So make sure your intake is good. Another great tip is to soak the nail in warm Orange/ Lemon juice for 10 mins and then wash and pat dry. You can do this daily and till you start seeing results.
- The Diet- Of course, our skin, nails and hair are a reflection of what we take inside. For nails specially worth mentioning are foods rich in vitamins mentioned above and fatty acids, Foods like fish, flaxseed, avocado are great. Also to cure white spots on nails caused by Zinc and calcium deficiencies eat nuts, meat, yoghurt, etc. For Biotin eat eggs, tomatoes, walnut, salmon, etc.
- Drink and drink as much water as you can for glossy beautiful nails.
- The care- Use good quality nail products that are free of harmful chemicals, formaldehyde etc and promote nail growth and beauty. I can’t stress enough how important this is as bad quality products not only dry the nails, making them brittle but also suck away the shine and the natural pink colour. I mostly don’t wear nail paints because 1. difficult to maintain 2. my nails become dull if i wear them continuously or remove them after many days, in this regard i have to say that i removed the DeBelle polish after 10 days and my nails were fine i think it has to do with the sea weed which is a natural marine algae that is great for the health of nails, of course i still have to see the long term results but from what i read if you use products with sea weed over a long period your nails become stronger and shinier, will keep you posted with the long term results!!!

Blazers are a wardrobe staple, they come handy no matter what the lifestyle. I can say that from my lifestyle which is causal but i do reach out for them for some meeting or any occasion that needs me to be more put together. But i can’t just have them sitting in my wardrobe for those few occasions, i love to make them work as they make a great piece for a casual chic look. Today i am sharing my top 5 easy tips to make the blazer work for a casual look:
- Pair with jeans- Wearing with jeans instantly makes the blazer casual, semi casual at least. If you choose ripped, boyfriend or the now trending frayed hem or step hem styles as worn today the look becomes even more casual.
- Casual tee- As the name suggests casual tees make any look casual. Choose a slogan tee, which is again a huge trend this spring summer to wear under the blazer for the perfect casual chic look.
- Shoes are very important, sneakers paired with blazers are a great option, flats bring down the formal quotient of the blazer a lot, pumps work too if they are in a casual style like a round toe as worn here. Mules and loafers will work very well with a blazer for a casual look for ss17!!!
