Here I am wearing my golden booties again, now there can be either one, or a combination of or all of the following three reasons 1. they are super comfortable 2. they are super versatile 3. they are super good looking. Well they are all the 3!!! My first pair that has not given me a shoe bite any day, not even the first day which is unreal as i had to even break into my converse that i so love for a couple of days, nothing against, it is the usual but these ones were a blessing so to say. They are from River Island and my first pair from the brand. After my blessing like experience i thought of asking other people who wear River Island shoes, to know if the brand makes comfy shoes or i just got lucky, before coming at a final verdict, and to my relief almost everyone ( friends, including blogger friends and family) said that some of their comfiest shoes are from River Island. It was kind of reassuring as i love to walk and i love fancy on my foot and if i know a brand that delivers both i am a happy person.

Unfortunately this pair is completely sold out but there are 3 other colours still available in this particular style rose gold, snake print and a black croc print and incase you love gold there is this very similar pair available. However i will keep an eye on the river island site and let you know if this pair comes back, which i hope it does!!!
As i said River Island shoes are one of the comfiest so here are some of my recent favourites from the spring summer collection, definitely worth it!!!!

Hey everyone
I reached Delhi right in time for Day 3 of the Amazon India Fashion week aw17. More on the shows later this week, today its the outfit!!
I haven’t really been able to plan the Fashion week in Delhi because of my travels, which is such a shame and i hope that i am able to next time, having said that i love that i am free to wear whatever the hell i want to wear. Which i do but you get what i am trying to say right!!!! Weather is on top of my checklist before planning my outfits and considering it was already 25 degrees c + i needed to wear something light in natural breathable fabric. This grey dress ticked all the right boxes, soft cotton fabric in my favourite neutral with the gorgeous trendy ruffles at the bottom. Its quite loose, which i love but i thought of giving it a bit of shape with another huge trend the corset belt, have to do a full post on that, stay tuned. Since the outfit was neutral i decided to have some fun with the shoes so there comes the embroidered slides, another huge trend and the fishnet socks in the pantone colour of the year greenery, another huge trend, phewwwwwww!!! How many trends can you put together in an outfit, lol and i myself advocate just going with one or two but also remember what i told you in this post, if you go with neutrals it is easier to add many details or trends in an outfit, this outfit is proof #neutralsrule.

I was extremely comfortable throughout the day, standing and walking around, meeting friends old and new, thanks to the super comfortable shoe and outfit! It was definitely a hit as many people took pictures, so yes, what else does one need!!

amazon india fashion week aw17 streetstyle outfit, all the trends

Spring is here and that means injecting some freshness into our wardrobes, Be it in the form of colours, fabrics or trends and in ways big or small we definitely look to make substitutions. The first thing i always look to update is my shoe wardrobe, i love shoes and i follow the shoe trends more closely than the clothing trends!!!!
The major trends i saw during fashion weeks both on the runways and street style for spring summer are 1. slides or mules or slippers whatever you want to call them, both heeled and flat 2. loafers 3. embroidery 4. updated white shoes 5. v neck pumps and today i have put together some of my favourites incorporating one or more of the above trends.
V neck pumps, can't wait to get these white ones from Daniel Footwear, white boots were a major trend this autumn winter and for spring summer pumps are great. The small block heel on this is perfect for walking and as for all daniel footwear i know the quality and craftsmanship will be great.

Hey everyone
Spring is here, well for some it is and for some technically here but no where in sight. In the UK the daffodils are blooming, the blossom trees are coming to life and the days are much longer, all signs of spring and to tell you honestly the days the sun is out it definitely feels like spring but the days it does not it seems like spring is nowhere in sight. Grey, rainy and windy not really make a good spring picture. But that is what spring in UK is and it is what it is!!!
The temperature in england in spring is between 5 and 18 degrees celsius in most parts so being practical with it here is a fashion checklist
1. Jeans and tights are a must, bare legs are only a dream.
2. Jackets and knitwear are a must, overcoats not so much.
3. Body warmers are very practical incase you do not want to wear a second layer on top.
4. Lighter pastel shades brighten up grey days.
5. Closed shoes preferably comfy booties that let you walk.
6. Dresses and skirts need tights/ leggings or my fav style, dress over jeans.
7. Layering is important so you can loose the layers just incase the sun god is kind.
8. A scarf is very handy.
9. Bring all the spring vibes by wearing florals.

After getting inspired by the street style during fashion weeks i tried to pull off the sweatshirt worn under jacket/ overcoat look and i have to say really happy with the result. Warmth while making a style statement, who says no to that. The boots although very statement are actually my comfiest pair and the denim because bare legs in cold and rainy is not a good idea and fringed obviously because i love updated denim!!!
I love my pink fur jacket perfect to brighten up any grey day from autumn to spring while making heads turn! Faux fur is not going anywhere till the end of this century, at least, so it can even be wise to buy it off season because you know you can use it year after year!!! And pink as i have said before is a very chic colour to wear now, so all thumbs up to this one.

What to wear in England in spring
Hey everyone

Hey everyone
Here i say again, I was awe struck by the fashion in Milan during fashion week, not just the runways but also the street style!!!! No jokes but at the end of the day i literally had to decide whether i was more inspired by the runway or the streets! Next season maybe i should take more pictures of the street style during fashion weeks and make a post about that, i mean why not!!!!!
And now about todays post the shows and presentations i attended and loved at milan fashion week. I have also attached small videos i made on my phone at the show, not of any good quality but just to give you a feel of the environment!
Graphic, fun, wearable, feminine+boyish to another level to sum up the collection. Pretty impressed with the zig zag set design to add to the graphic look of the collection. Loved the ruffled lacey dresses paired with caps and printed shoes, the clash of prints, florals or checks both bold, the coloured pant suits, and of course the sweatshirts and the caps. I could see myself wearing so many of the outfits as i love to mix feminine and boyish and the whole collection was majorly that.
Held in the piazza duomo, It was my first show in such an old building with all the amazing architecture and i knew the venue will have a major effect on the effect the show will have on me. And so it was, i found the whole collection very romantic and luxe, not that it was not but a tad bit more because of the location!!! Majorly crushing on the fur stoles worn on one side and belted at the waist, its for sure going to be hot this autumn winter. Also loved the colour combinations for the outfits specially leopard with pink.
Their bags are literally everywhere at the moment and the new collection is no different, made to shine!!! Living up to the adventurous and quirky statement pieces that the brand is famous for. Loved all the red and studded designs, the cloud pins that you can wear as a brooch and my favourite was the colorful fur bucket bag that i couldn’t stop myself from trying!
