Hey everyone! How sweet and edgy midi Skirts look with leather jackets ( faux)! Love the contrast and khaki is a neutral for me, wearing it with everything! And I thought of different shoes but finally wore these pale pink ones a) rose quartz is the color of the year and b) rust and pale pink is an unexpected cool combination.
About the location, we were just passing by this stadium and friend said let's check it out, I said they won't let us in and he being him said let's try. At the gate, he very casually told the guard we want to see the stadium empty and surprisingly the guard let us in!! My man is the coolest!!!!!

Woohoooo it's 2016! Happy happy new year friends, may it be a rocking one for all of us, what a change in energy in a change of date from 31st December to 1st January, it's only a day change but the energy is unmatched! A new beginning, a break to monotony, a different perspective and so much positivity. If there would be an index to positivity and hope, it'll be the highest on 1st Jan irrespective of country, religion and gender!
2015 was a good year, I am well on the path of becoming the person I want to be and the leading the life I want to live.
The best thing I did in 2015 was starting this blog. It's been the light of my life, helped me connect with all of u in different corners of the world, get inspired and learn! It's changed my life in many ways, good ways, and brought a lot of purpose and content.
Caring for my mom. I live by my mothers teachings and am extremely attached to her. I just can't see her in any pain so when she broke her pelvic girdle, some of u might remember, I made sure to be with her to ensure she recovers fast and well and thank god she is well recovered now and can move as before.
Finding my style. Well, I am almost there. My style has evolved immensely from the start of the year and I feel much more confident in my choices and putting together outfits in no time! The biggest step was understanding my body and working with what I got. I know we all want to get fitter and trimmer but I realised I should stop dreaming and start working with my body as it is and that was the best realisation in terms of style! Concealing the cons and highlighting the pros!
Getting Instagram. It's the best app ever, for me! The possibility of connecting with people with similar interests is unreal!! And it's so easy to use! I feel i don't need any social media apart from it. Upload pictures, comments, conversations, inspirations, collaborations it's all possible and so convenient! And I have also made some great friends through it! My handlebar is @thestyletune I post a lot of my daily looks, food and other stuff that inspire me and am completely hooked, follow along if u like! But do get Instagram if haven't still!
Finding my life moto. Can u guess, ok, it's never say never! Never say never means anything is possible, I will go deep in some other post because there's a lot it means but in short I would say that the only constant in life is change and if u work, the craziest of dreams can come true! So dream a lot!

Nothing like a hot cup in my hand tucked in the bed watching my favorite show, which is The Affair. Do you guys like that show, i don't want it to end soon, at least till the very cold days last.
About the outfit, this longline windowpane print blazer, though monochromatic is very dramatic and striking! Its a great third layer on the fine line of chic and edgy! I was first wearing it with skinny jeans but then saw this circle skirt in tartan checks and the image of two similar but not so similar checks together excited me like sick!! And voila what a beauty! Everything else had to be black and crisp. And i actually quite like my choice of bag, just the right amount of color.
