For day 4 at fashion week i decided to wear my beautiful lace slip dress and sneakers from Finery that i showed you in this post. Feminine dress with sporty shoes is just my thing, u guys know i love contrast. This lace one has a square neck which makes it quite diff from the usual v neck style slip dresses, it looks and feels like a designer piece but its actually just higher end high street price. Not just the pieces i am wearing, everything at finery is on the lines of modern, sophisticated but accessible and at top quality.
What i wore- dress- finery, shoes- finery, necklace- finery, sweater- boohoo, bomber jacket- h&m, back pack- stradivarius sold out, similar
I am all in for updated versions of classic pieces like this slip on white shoe with buckle detail and this black sweater with frill shoulder detail. When going for minimal or monochrome looks i try to put together pieces with details to make my outfit more interesting.
One of the perks of being an accredited blogger at the fashion week was that I could get my hair at Toni and guy and makeup at maybelline, done at no charge. So later in the day I decided to get my lips perfected and my hair done into this beyond wow braid.
What i wore- dress- finery, shoes- finery, necklace- finery, sweater- boohoo, bomber jacket- h&m, back pack- stradivarius sold out, similar

I wanted to create a look that was sporty, dark and a bit edgy but also effortless and romantic so i mixed feminine details like lace, the slip style, the frills, my hair in a messy braid with edgy details like the dark lips, the color black and sporty details like the sneaker, the bomber jacket around the waist and the backpack.
It was quite an interesting look that got me many compliments at the fashion week
Thanks for stopping by, see you in my next post

Hey everyone! To take full advantage of the no rain situation on day 3 i decided to wear my lace dress in the colour of the season rusty orange. But no rain didn’t mean hot, the temp was around 17 degrees c so i had to cover my legs and what better occasion to bring out the loved OTK boots. This one from Daniel Footwear hits all the right boxes for the city. They are two tone i.e the front is suede and the back is look like leather, the detailing makes them a lot interesting and the flat heel is such a relief for a city like London where u r either walking or on public transport and even more if you are constantly on the go, like during fashion week when i had to walk from one show to another, though they were all in close vicinity but still a walk of around 10-15 mins and to do that multiple times you have to be wearing comfortable shoes like these.
Apart from its own brand Daniel, Daniel footwear also stocks brands like Alexander Wang, Stuart Weitzman, Charlotte Olympia, Kendal+Kylie, etc and they deliver worldwide.
What i wore- Dress- Boohoo, Vest- Asos (sold out) (similar), Belt- Asos, Bag- Furla, Shoes- Daniel footwear
Gone are the days of not pairing navy with black. Infact its the trendy thing to do and i absolutely love the combo. Check this look here.
This bag holds up everything! The gold detailing is spot on.
What i wore- Dress- Boohoo, Vest- Asos (sold out) (similar), Belt- Asos, Bag- Furla, Shoes- Daniel footwear

i was sold on the sleeves and the colour of this dress! Dramatic flare sleeves are such a rage right now and orange is the colour of autumn/ fall, so it was a win win. I wanted to pair my playful and trendy dress with something more formal and classic to keep the effortless chic vibe going so i chose my pinstripe gillet/ vest and cinched it at the waist with my western belt so to not loose my shape and the result was a look that was flirty but also sophisticated.
Thank you for stopping by! See you in my next one.

Hey everyone! I thought it would be better to do a post just with the shows so u have it all together. As you all know it was my first season of fashion week and i was completely awe struck by the energy at the shows, when the models sashayed down the runway with the music in the background, the photographers in action and the who's who of the blogging world, celebrities and media in attendance. I was late for my first show but after that i made sure i reached much before time and be on my seat to see my favorite people come and take their seats. I definitely wanted to check out their outfits as much as i wanted to see the shows.
The shows
Burberry and British fashion go together , more than the designs and cuts what i loved most was the styling. All the layering is such an inspo for the autumn winter weather as well.
Topshop Unique- Move over the leopard print, the Zebra is the new IT print. It usually takes a good couple of months for the collections to be available for purchase but this year for the first time you can buy straight after the show aka 'see now buy now'
Paul Smith- The loose pant suit with slides, i would give it a go for sure!
Sid Neigum- Loved the cuts and movement, again slides are here to stay.
Pringle of Scotland- Cobalt was a surprise but a pleasant one, loved the mixed checks, they can do no wrong.
Preen- case of extreme ruffles and the mix of feminine and masculine. obsessed with the ruffles at the knee.
Mother of Pearl- athletics mixed with feminism and statement shoes.
Molly Goddard- Midi lengths, the color pink, net and the beautiful hair.
House of Holland- Gingham checks with mesh, dark florals and ruffles whats not to love.
Barbara Casasola- All about luxurious fabrics and minimalism.
Simone Rocha- struck by the print mix, cuts and texture play and the interesting new way of wearing coats on one shoulder.
Cristopher Kane - mesh and metallics rule
Emilio de la morena- such a beautiful collection, i could wear everything. loved the net overlay.
Ashish- the most spell binding show of the season. face painted models, men wearing ladies clothes, bold colors and embroidery strutting the runway while classical indian music played in the backdrop.
What i didn't see- short and mini lengths and too form fitting.
Clear trends- Ruffles everywhere, loose silhouettes, fabrics with movement, midi lengths, minimalism with details, wide leg pants, shoulder and sleeve details, net and mesh, colors- white, pink, blue, red and yellow.
This was the first fashion week after Britain's vote to exit the European union and i could feel that sentiment come up, as a lot of buyers and media come from Europe for the event but there was a positive vibe around and no shortage of playfulness.
I will do a separate post on the presentations so stay tuned for that, See you in my next one.

Hey everyone
Day 2 at London fashion week was much more in control as i had figured out my way around brewer street car park where the fashion week is being held. Its right in the heart of Soho and the convenient tube stations are Piccadilly circus and Tottenham court road. If you know Soho you would know its the heart of the city and there are hundreds of eating and chilling places around so theres lots to do as it is. The weather was supposed to be better than day 1, thankfully no rain so i decided to wear my tulle skirt. Wanted to pair my girly skirt with a bit edgier pieces but still keep the look a lot feminine so had Initially planned to wear it with a lace velvet cami top with a military jacket that i had listed in the items i would wear at the fashion week post, so many of you loved it but sadly the fit of the jacket was completely off, it was a size 8 but so big that it could fit one more person so in case you are thinking of getting it remember that its very huge, luckily i had this boyfriend shirt from H&M that i was happy with but not really sure if it would work well with the skirt as it was quite loose and the skirt was fluffy as it is. On the night before i was going through pictures of the bloglovin h&m awards and saw Leandra Madine wear the same shirt so that gave me more confidence and when i wore the outfit all the disheartenment at the jacket not working was replaced by the sense of completely owning the look.
What i wore- Shirt H&M sold out similar, Skirt- Boohoo, Bag- Dune sold out similar, Belt- Asos, Shoes- Topshop, Earrings- H&M sold out similar
Loved the look of a boyfriend shirt tucked into a tulle skirt with super fancy leopard print slingbacks in red. I also feel the western belt was a great addition, added a lot of edginess. Read about accentuating ur figure with belts here

This is probably going to be my fav look from the fashion week, very effortless, a lot of diff elements, and super chic. I got a lot of compliments for it and many people asked for pictures so was very glad the initial look i had planned didn't work, lesson learned- sometimes when things don't work out they are actually working in your favor.
Thank you for stopping by! See u in my next one.

Hey everyone! Day 1 at London fashion week in one word was a whirlwind. The sun god finally decided to take a break and let the rain and cold have a time but i so wish it was some other day. Hair, outfit, commuting everything becomes more stressful but I am happy it feels like autumn and thats London, anyways!!!
I was wearing quite a few trends on the first day, trends i love and wanted to wear and fashion week was just the right time to rock them. But i always try to make the outfits as effortless as possible and get the chic street style vibe going. From all the pieces in the look i am obsessed with the black embroidered denim and the fur slides. You are definitely seeing me wear them multiple times.
I am a huge fan of mixing textures and for day 1 i went for it full throttle. velvet jacket, suede top, denim bottom, suede bag and fur shoes. Quite a mix plus the colors but i think the black brought the whole look together. So my advice for when you are wearing a lot of trendy things and mixing a lot of stuff choose a strong black element to make the look chic.
Pink and khaki is definitely one of my fav color combos. Specially this time of the year.
I was happy i had jeans and jacket on me as it had become quite cold.
On day 1 ruffles dominated the runway and i am glad they did. Wide legs were strong and so were the sleeves and shoulders. As for colors i saw a lot of white and shades of blue and some yellow.
Teatum Jones opened the LFW with a bang. It was my first show and what a start. Loved the pairing of crisp shirts with puffed cropped pants, silky fabrics, lace and the pairing of bold colors with soft. There were many rich hues as well and i feel its quite appropriate to wear even now. And can we take a moment to admire the boots a true show stopper.
They introduced their mens collection as well and focussed on human diversity.
Completely awe struck by the Paul Costelloe, one of the most established names in British fashion history, show in dreamy Le Meridian. My fav show on day one and what a collection, this dress below is the epitome of fancy to me, the ruffles and the hi lo design are just beyond gorgeous. I also loved the colors pastels, muted tones in rich fabrics and shades of blue. The outfits were full of feminine details and lot of textures and mixed fabrics.
Those were the two shows i attended. I also went to couple of presentations and would cover them in a separate post so this one does not become humungous, i think it already is but its the fashion week after all!!!!!
Thank you for stopping by! See you in my next one.
