This pleated maxi skirt is one of my most loved pieces, super luxurious looking, super great quality at a very reasonable price. I don't think I have anything that looks and feels so luxe at this price.

The beautiful blush colour makes it very versatile to be dressed up or done and the pleats we know are huge this year. I wore it for a dressier occasion with a cami top over plain white t, another trend which is all about being creative with the pieces existing in our wardrobe so I encourage you to try that out. It looks very fresh and edgy and to balance the edginess I wore the sweet floral headband, as you all know I love mixing things up.

It took me time to stop admiring it the day it arrived from shein.com, a worldwide shipping online shopping site which offers trendy and chic clothes/ accessories at super affordable price. I am sure you know about it and if not, do check it out and be surprised by the collection and the prices. My only piece of advice is 1) read the measurements and the product description well before ordering as the sizes are not always consistent 2) read the reviews and see the pictures of other people which are posted along the main picture, wearing the stuff. This way Ull have a better idea and be covered. Important. But I tell u it'll be worth the price.

There are a ton of other ways I can already imagine myself wearing this skirt. With a shirt for Friday dressing, a boho blouse for Sunday brunch, a crop top or lace blouse for a fancy occasion, dress it down completely with a plain t or a graphic/ slogan t. In the colder months it'll look great with leather jacket or cropped sweater or a coat, trust me the possibilities are endless. Getting so many outfits and such varied ones from one piece is truly heaven, it's a super great purchase

Being on trend or moving from one season to another isn't always about buying a lot of new things, I would love to buy every new thing in the market but it's not a great proposition after all, so sometimes buying a few trendy pieces and being creative with the outfits is all one needs for a fresh lease.

I have had the skirt (outfit), top, shoes and bag in this outfit for many years and have worn them many many times. Wearing them now and keeping it relevant and fun I decided to add trendy pins and patches to the top and wore a diy choker, if so I may call around the neck and my outfit was ready for Spring/summer 2016.

I got these pins and patches from Stradivarius and I am sure other retailers and online shops do have them in stock. They are very inexpensive and adding them to outfits is super easy. Pins u don't have to do anything and patches one can easily fix with double tape or can be sewn for a stronger hold. I used double tap so it can be easily removed and reused.

Adding red accessories to pastel/ neutral outfits gives them so much life and freshness, and considering they are everywhere I would say we all must get a red bag or shoes or earrings or even patches.

I bought this top about a year ago and the skirt around the same time but couldn't figure out how to style them, of course I could have worn the top with skinnies and the skirt with a fitted top and looked great but I knew there was a better and more fun way to style them. So they rested in my closet until yesterday when the idea finally struck me to wear them together. But that meant breaking the "rule" of wearing something fitted on the top when wearing volume on the bottom and vice versa, which I too followed, well mostly!

And tell me don't they come together well!!! So my piece of advice to myself and you is to not rule out anything till the time you try it. You never know what can actually look good and what will not.

Pleats are so feminine and a great detail option if you are not a fan of prints. The main reason why I chose to wear these pleated items together was the difference in the pleats. The top has the structured pleats whereas the skirt has the chevron detail pleats so they looked interesting together. And with so much colour in the outfit I chose to keep the shoes nude but with interesting laceup and cut out details for subtle fun.

I am all for interesting back details and shoulder details this spring summer. They are so much more sexy, fresh and everyone can rock them.

Hey everyone! Inspired by some of my favourite bloggers from around the world, I decided to give in to the flare pants worn with dresses trend. And what fabulousness!!! I love it for the varying proportions, movement and break from monotony.

Wearing ur clothes different ways not only brings more use out of them but also spice up your outfits. And you also get new outfits without having to constantly buy new things! Just how I got this cool outfit from my old dress and pants.

Flare pants all of us have to get, they are quite easy to style and suit all body shapes. Specially in the summer when u don't want things to stick to your body. Check these two posts here and here for how I styled them in the past. There are a few daily ootd's on my Instagram as well @thestyletune, you can check that too.

What I wore

Dress- dorothyperkins

Denim- mango

Earrings- h&m

Bag and shoes- new look

You guys know I am on the boho drive but I seriously seriously want to thank h&m for making this dress! Such a lightweight cotton fabric in such a breezy design, perfect for the harsh Indian summer. In fact not just this dress but the whole new collection at h&m is worth having!!! Check another item from the same collection here. Most of the pieces are not available online but you can still find them in the stores.

I think this season I bought all my statement earrings from h&m and they are all so stunning, just can't stop wearing them.

I could have chosen to wear laceup flats with the dress but I thought of breaking the boho vibes with the converse. As I love mixing things up!!!!

One of my things to do for this year is trying different jeans styles. I will always love the skinny jeans but off late I find myself more drawn to outfits featuring the other styles of jeans a.k.a the flare, the boyfriend, the mom, etc. maybe I am bored of wearing the skinnies for all my grown up life or maybe they are actually pretty cool.
These mom jeans I bought last year with much excitement but neither could I gather the confidence to rock them nor could I figure out how to style them for my body.

Mostly on Instagram and Pinterest I saw tighter tops or crop tops styles with mom jeans but I wanted to have a lot more fun. When I spotted this top from stadivarius I knew it was just the perfect fun match. First it was white and white/blue combo is one of my favs and then it had the fun trendy elements like the ruffles and the cut out shoulders to make these 90s jeans very modern. I accessorised with trendy tassel earrings and tasseled lace up shoes.

Red lips are definitely a classic with white and blue.

I encourage you to try different jeans styles they are so much fun and if you want to try mom jeans, without doubt, go to topshop. They have so many colours and rips and washes. There is definitely a pair for you.
