One of my favourite things to do is formalising casual things and casualising formal things!! Not sure if they are any words but you get the point, right! And the two main reasons I love this are 1) I want to wear and rewear my clothes as many times and in as many ways as possible so i feel like I am wearing something fresh without having to constantly buy new clothes. 2) I love the juxtaposition created by mixing formal and casual pieces.

The t shirt dress is probably the most casual item in our wardrobes and I formalised it with formal accessories. Having said that our makeup and hair also add significantly to the whole look. Stronger formal makeup and hairdo add formal touch to casual outfits, as you can see here.

Like bright colours pastel shades are great for Spring/summer and white shoes are very in fashion right now, they kinda go with everything and make the outfit soft and more summery.

Hey everyone! Going all out in the pantone colours of the year - pale pink and pale blue aka rose quartz and serenity at the india fashion week. Staying true to my personal style of simple, trendy and chic I wore this simple slogan tee with an A line skirt with the trendiest lace up shoes and tassel earrings.

I wanted each element in the look to stand out and speak for itself in the simplest way and also peacefully compliment.

A line skirts are seriously so figure flattering. I never thought and this length is very versatile making it a lot wearable. The t shirt was a steal from h&m and i have to literally just stop wearing it!!!!! So comfy and love the slogan.

About the shoes. This pom pom lace up design or whatever they call it is all over instagram and i was obsessing for good six months! But i never really thought i could buy soon as they were all designers and super expensive. So one fine day i go to Zara, for a casual walk and i see them and i freaked out. It was in my size and there was no way i wasn't getting it. Happiness!!!

Although it was the fashion week i chose to wear what i am most comfortable in and also staying true to my personal style which always gives the much needed confidence at important events.

Hey everyone! Boho was a huge trend last year and it's huger this year and I feel it's here to stay for sometime so might as well get the boho fun in our dressing.

A good way to bring trends from the past decades to current times is by wearing them in a more modern way with classy or modern pieces so you still have a feel but do not look like belonging to the past. But hey! this tip is valid only if you want to try the trends in a subtle way. If you want to go all out, please do, after all we are in 2016. Everything is cool.

The misconception about boho dressing as belonging to wild days or music festivals needs to be broken. We can add boho touches to our everyday looks in the form of fringes, tassels, beaded necklaces, flares, playing with textures and layering, boho braids, block heels and so on.

In this look the fringes on the dress and the braided hair bring the boho feel and the single strap heels, the clean silhouette of the dress and the clutch add the classy feel making this look totally modern and making me stand out at the cocktail event I attended wearing it.

I was sold on the fringes on this shift dress, obsessed with the how they flow with my flow!!

I've been feeling quite blue for sometime! Haha, only with respect to my outfits. Love combining different shades of blue and specially pale b lue and cobalt look very good together.

I will forever be a skinny jeans lover no matter how much I like the flared, straight, boyfriend, girlfriend styles. And the rips on this one are the product of a Diy. Which is still in progress. Off late, to me, jeans without rips look quite boring unless they are white which I accept in all forms and with this experience I now know how easy and fun ripping is and how you can give a totally new character to urs and make them totally unique as per ur creativity. So I totally look forward to doing more and maybe sharing with you guys.

Espadrilles are great for this weather and this leopard one adds a lot of fun and a bit of fierceness to the look.

Check out another look with different shades of blue, featuring the same shirt.

Hey everyone! Want to add the cool, young, fashion forward vibe to any outfit, just wear it with sneakers. The colour is not so important but the white ones are more eye catching and more out there. And trends like these have to be jumped on and left no chance to not rock. I mean, arnt they the most comfortable thing for your feet.
And you can literally wear them with anything, it's all cool. I mostly love to wear them with my girly outfits or a bit polished outfits for an unexpected surprise, which u guys know I so love.

Now talking of the second element in this look. The dress. It is the dress that looks great on each one of us. The SWING dress. It flatters all shapes, all sizes,  looks fabulous on all of us and deserves a place in all our wardrobes. Definitely my first dress style of choice. This one with the florals, lace inserts and flared sleeve was love at first sight.

This look shows that being on trend does not always translate to much thinking or adding many elements or going crazy with styling. It is possible with functional, simple and easy choices as well. On trend, simply!! I suck that!! Ok, I also love to go crazy thinking about styling, hahahaaaa!!!!

Asos has a great collection of swing dresses, like everything else and I have linked a few great ones for you to have a look.

Hey everyone! Sharing with you my go to look, shirt and denim, in a dressier form. I know mostly people live in jeans and T but I live or love to live in jeans and shirt. Casual shirts of course! Love the silhouette on my body and feel the most comfortable in them. To dress up my shirt and jeans i  simply add accessories and fun heels and voila! i am dressed to impress!!!

In the warmer months the light cotton soft fabric is all I want to wear and this shirt is just that in soothing soft pastel pink. Good enough, but what I most like about the shirt is the longline which makes it wearable with leggings and also elongates the body.

Wearing it for the first time, I obviously had to choose white denim, my favourite and to bring out the subtle blue in the shirt I chose same shade accessories. Matching the accessories with the colours in the printed piece is always a great way of styling outfits. And light blue or serenity and light pink or rose Quartz being the Pantone colours of the year, why would I leave any opportunity of pairing them together.

Hey everyone! Definitely one of my most ladylike looks so far!!! About dressing, i can't really say i only like to dress a certain way. I love my skirts with heels as much as my dresses with oxfords. I enjoy wearing my ripped skinnies with sneakers as much as with stilettos. I love androgyny as much as girly. Somedays i want my outfits to have the boho vibe and somedays the Parisian vibe. Basically i don't belong to a set, i love it all!!!!! To put it best!!

Ok now, about this outfit. Spring will not be spring without flowers and if u translate that to clothes it will be skirts and dresses in floral print. I enjoy skirts more as their are more ways to wear them. And this one i fall in love more each time i wear it. It looks great with black top, white top and of course grey which is one of my fav colors and specially this charcoal shade. If your complexion is close to mine choose grey its the best neutral for our skin tone.

Cold shoulder/ cut out shoulder whatever u may call it, is a huge trend for spring/ summer this year so i was super happy that this grey color matched the grey flowers in the skirt. And one of the best and my fav way to wear/experiment with trends is with classics/essentials. Hope you enjoy this ladylike look as much as i enjoyed wearing it.

Hey everyone! White is one of my most loved colours. I wear white very often and all year round. So it was on top of my mind while thinking about what to pack for my trip to Jodhpur for the Sufi music festival. Its also the colour I associate with Sufi music, calming and peaceful.  And also the colour that I want to wear in hot weather. Ok! enough said in favour. To put it simply, I LOVE WHITE and I don't really need any excuse to wear all white but Sufi music and white kinda go together!!!! Hahaaaaa

So here's an all white Sufi lookbook!! And a few pictures from the trip. Hope you like it and you can also check out my all white love here and here
