Hey everyone! This one is an ode to the power of fashion and styling. I mean most of us do not have the perfect bodies and are constantly trying to loose some weight here some toning there. Its great to be all toned and shapely but we struggle with our many indulgences and habits. So fashion and styling is our friend, it def is mine.
Monochrome is a very intelligent way of slimming ones silhouette. As there is no contrast or mix of colors on the body, to the eye one appears leaner and taller.
Monochrome does not just means one color in the same shade. Shades can be diff, infact i feel when going for monochrome one should choose slightly diff shades, not very diff, just a little off. Or play with textures or diff fabrics or create more interest by knotting or choosing items with metallic detailing like i did or add a brooch or interesting necklace or earrings, just totally depends on the look u r going for.
I wanted a chic look with this outfit so i chose my beloved hat, great with the collar, and block heels.
Guys be healthy, that is the most important. And if u still have certain imperfections use fashionnnn!!!!
After the shoot i realized, i was wearing my hat the other way round!! Hahahahaha! Real life!

There is always a prep in my step around this time of the year. Fall, my fav season, is about to start followed by festivities then new years, valentines day eh! that is too far, i should stop. Just want to say i am super excited for the coming months!!!!! and this month of course, the fashion month, trying to soak in all the trends from the fashion weeks. Till now, i am completely besotted by Prabal Gurung's show in the ongoing NYFW s/s 2016.
Mixing prints can be tricky but stripes with leopard is a fail safe pairing. They are both neutrals, classic, go great together and the combination is a definite try, in case u r afraid or unsure of mixing prints.
This vertical, irregular stripes one shoulder top with side slits is a very modern and glamorous take on stripes. For such a standout piece a black jeans is the best bet and skinny because the top is also a bit flowey.

Hello! Amazing people of the Internet! This is how I worked my amazing flutter shorts from day to night with small, easy changes.
1) changed my baseball tee with this bright red vest top.
2) with the same makeup I added a copper smokey eye (luv it so much it's going to be my go out for night outs, if u have olive/ brown/medium complexion like me I strongly recommend it for fall/ winter) and deep Marsala (colour of the year and perfect for fall/winter, got to flaunt it) lips and of course my fav winged liner, honestly if I have time I'll wear it during the day as well.
3) loosened my hair.
4) ditched my flats for strappy heels.
5) switched to a more night appropriate clutch.
6) tied my long necklace at the back with a rubber band to suit the neckline of the top, smart, isn't it.
On Fridays/ Saturday's think of wearing something, u can easily transform from day to night. I was ready to party within 10 mins max.
